The Hi3531RFCV100 is a multi-channel H.264 video encoder/decoder SoC from HiSilicon, designed for enterprise surveillance DVR/NVR systems. Built around dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 and dedicated vector processing unit, it handles simultaneous multi-channel audio/video encoding, decoding and intelligent motion analytics. It supports up to 16-channel real-time D1 encoding with independent sub-stream to lower network bandwidth pressure. This single-chip solution integrates DDR3 memory controller, multi-channel audio codec, full video I/O and display acceleration, reducing PCB size and BOM cost.
