The MPU-9250 is a multi-chip module (MCM) consisting of two dies integrated into a single QFN-24 (3x3x1mm) package. One die houses a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer, while the other die houses the AK8963 3-axis magnetometer. This pioneering 9-axis MotionTracking device is designed for the low power, low cost, and high-performance requirements of consumer electronics, robotics, and wearable devices. It features an onboard Digital Motion Processor (DMP) capable of processing complex MotionFusion algorithms, offloading the load from the applications processor and optimizing system power consumption.
