Product Overview

The TMC4671-LA is a fully integrated servo controller IC with hardware-based Field Oriented Control (FOC), designed by Trinamic (now part of Analog Devices). It integrates current, velocity, and position control loops entirely in dedicated hardware, offloading the host MCU from real-time computation. It supports 3-phase PMSM/BLDC, 2-phase stepper motors, as well as 1-phase DC and voice coil motors. The device interfaces with analog/digital Hall sensors and incremental encoders, and features a high-speed PWM engine up to 100 kHz. Housed in a compact QFN76-EP package, the enables high-performance servo operation with minimal external components.
